Verifone Nurit 8020 - GPRS Overview
The Nurit 8020 or 8000S operates on AT&T/Cingular's GPRS wireless network. The wireless Nurit 8020 is the PCI-PED approved replacement to the Nurit 8000. It has a clear white backlit screen and a new compact design, but otherwise is nearly identical to the 8000. The Nurit 8020 includes a built-in printer, internal PINpad, and signature capturing screen. The Nurit 8020 offers the technology and features merchants need, in a reliable terminal that will last for years, and a price that most can afford. We recommend this terminal for wireless processing above all others currently in production. Please note. Verifone does not label Nurit 8020 versions any different from each other. If you order a Nurit 8020 GPRS, rest assured that it is the GPRS version, but the manufacturer does not print anything on the terminal or the box to indicate this.
